Exercise Can Extend Survival Even in the “Oldest Old”
In Chicago, Israeli researchers found that a little bit of physical activity can go a long way for people in their mid to late 80’s. They three year survival rate was three times higher for those who were active compares to those who were not. They didn’t have to do intense activity. As long as they walked about 4 hours per week they were considered active. Click here to find out more details on the study.
